Hands-On Workshops may offered during the Fall and Spring Semesters as instructors and times are available. Workshops that were offered during Summer 2008. 

HTML Basics
This class will cover basic concepts, elements, and HTML tags used to create web page, plus the beginning use of CSS.

Intermediate HTML
This workshop will cover how to create for page layouts using tables, additional tags and special links, and creating forms.

XHTML
XHTML is considered the newest version and soon to be standard of HTML. Learn the differences between HTML and XHTML and how to upgrade your web pages to be XHTML compliant. Six (6) seats available.

Beginning CSS: Content Formatting - June 10th - Tues - 1:00 PM to 3:00PM, Sumwalt 219
CSS ( Casading Style Sheets) along with XHTML is considered the new web standard. This workshop will cover using CSS syntax, styles, and elements to control content formatting.

Beginning CSS: Layout with Styles- June 24th - Tues - 1:00 PM to 3:00PM, Sumwalt 219
CSS ( Casading Style Sheets) along with XHTML is considered the new web standard. This workshop will cover using CSS syntax, styles, and elements to control the page layouts instead of only using tables.

Introduction to Dreamweaver CS3 - July 16, Wed - 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sumwalt 219
This workshop will give a overview of many of the most common tools and features. Participants will also learn how to set up a Dreamweaver controlled local site, create a template and template controlled pages, and how to upload to a remote server.
