Who May Request Web Space?
Faculty may request web space on the College web server for the purpose of delivering course/lecture material to students. Posting of course-related material should be with the understanding that the site may require a password protection feature for control of bandwidth for videos and copyright sensitive issues. Faculty may also request space for Student work for a course.
What do I need to do?
(1) As with personal web sites, faculty are expected to adhere to the USC Web Policy at http://www.sc.edu/policies/acaf704.html
A printed and signed copy of this policy should be given to the Web Coordinator at the time of the request. Your request will be handled by the Web Coordinator and you will be notified via email when the web space is ready for you to use.
(2) Provide your Web Coordinator with the following information:
Your USC Network username
Password protection for course content site, if needed
Need for Student Work space related to course content site.
The date you will need access.
Type of files (For example: .mov, mp3, pdfs, etc.)
Estimated amount of needed space, if possible.
