Instructions include mapping and connecting to course directory located on the CASW1 Web Server for Mac and PC users.

Students should receive instructions about accessing and uploading work from their respective professors or instructors.

On Campus
1. Map a network drive using the path:
\\casw1.cas.sc.edu\course\your Network Username
2. Use your CAS login by typing in as follows:
CAS\your Network Username and your CAS password.

Off Campus/Out of Network
1. Open your web browser.( Microsoft Internet Explorer seem to work best.)
2. Go to File>Open, type in the URL: https://casw1.cas.sc.edu/course/your network username
3. Check the box "open as web folder".
4. To login: Use CAS/your network username and your CAS password.

NOTE: Initial CAS Passwords are created by the Web Server Manager for your CAS Account. This information is sent to you at the time your CAS Account or when your web site is created. Contact rcchelp@cas.sc.edu for assistance.

1. Connect to server using the path:
smb://casw1.cas.sc.edu/course/your network username

2. To login type the following:
For domain : CAS
For name: Your Network Username
For password: Your CAS password

Off Campus/Out of Network
1. On OS X, connect the same way as if on campus, except use:
https://casw1.cas.sc.edu/course/your network username.

2. To login type the following:
For domain : CAS
For name: Your Network Username
For password: Your CAS password
