ROMS
The Regional Ocean Model System (ROMS) is a free-surface, hydrostatic, primitive equation ocean model that uses stretched, terrain-following coordinates in the vertical and orthogonal curvilinear coordinates in the horizontal. ROMS has extensive pre and post-processing software for data preparation, analysis, plotting, and visualization. The entire input and output data structure of the model is via NetCDF which facilitates the interchange of data between computers, user community, and other independent analysis software. |
